Every October, Barbour invite colleagues & partners to Barbour House & fully immerse them in next years collection. It’s a busy schedule with an opening conference, studio show arounds, presentations & a big party to close each week.
Role:
Event & Logistics Manager
Responsibilities:
Hired by Barbour to deliver two weeks of event activity across Barbour House & external venues
Responsible for booking venues, scheduling entertainment & owning catering requirements
Researching vendors (catering, entertainment & production) to ensure they felt on brand
Overseeing each event & acting quickly to resolve problems in a live environment
Management of all onsite logistics – overseeing turnaround of spaces/venues for multiple use
Worked closely with the SLT to ensure their last-minute requests were resolved
Communicating with internal departments & suppliers to arrange all printed event collateral
Supported with management of up to 30 models
Nicola managed external contacts communication, the set-up, procurement and logistics of our autumn/winter launch event with such ease. She quickly adapted to the brief and was able to support so effortlessly – whilst her friendly and personable manner meant she felt like part of the team. Her help during our autumn / winter internal launch was fundamental to the success of the event.
